Privacy & your choices.
How information is handled when you play Little Windfall: Triple Match or visit the Emilie Games website.
Who this policy covers
Emilie Edwards, operating as Emilie Games, is responsible for the information handled by the developer in connection with Little Windfall: Triple Match and www.emiliegames.com. The Android application identifier is com.emiliegames.windfall.
The app information below describes the current Android implementation. A separate iOS release may have different platform controls; this notice will be updated when that release is available. Third-party websites and apps you choose to visit have their own privacy notices.
Information on your device
Game progress and preferences
The game stores your level and board state, inventory, activity counters, completed actions, timestamps, and in-game history on your device so that you can resume playing. It also stores language, sound, music, motion, haptic, tutorial, and privacy preferences. If you complete an eligibility screen, the selected region and age-confirmation choice are stored locally.
The current game does not require a developer-hosted sign-in account. These saved game records are not synchronized to an Emilie Games server by the current implementation. Device-level backups may be managed separately by your operating system and its settings.
Details you choose to enter
If you use the optional account-details form in the app, the fields depend on your selected country and provider. They may include your name, email address, telephone number, date of birth, bank name, bank or branch code, account number, account type, or IBAN, together with the selected country, provider, and time saved.
In the current Android implementation, these details are stored only in the app's private, no-backup storage, encrypted with AES-GCM using an Android Keystore key. They are not submitted to the developer or an external account-processing service by the current implementation. The form is optional and is not needed for the core puzzle. Do not enter passwords, PINs, card security codes, or one-time verification codes.
If future features send these details to an online service, the app and this notice must explain the recipient, purpose, and applicable choices before that new processing begins.
Usage analytics
The current developer-operated usage analytics service is disabled. Saving an analytics preference does not itself transmit gameplay analytics. This is separate from technical and advertising measurements that an active advertising provider may perform.
Optional advertising
The Android app integrates AppLovin MAX for optional video and full-screen advertisements. Ad availability depends on the release configuration, connection, and provider availability. The app's ad integration checks your optional advertising choice before starting ad setup or requesting ads.
When advertising is enabled and configured, the app may access the Android advertising ID, subject to your device controls, and provide it to the advertising SDK. Advertising providers may also process IP addresses, device and operating-system information, app information, ad requests, impressions, clicks, completion events, and diagnostic information. IP addresses may be used to infer an approximate location. These activities support ad delivery, measurement, troubleshooting, and detection of invalid activity.
Visit AppLovin's privacy policy for its information practices and privacy request options. The data handled by any additional advertising partner depends on the partners enabled for the release and must be disclosed when those partners are added.
You can turn off Optional advertising in Settings > Privacy choices. The app then stops its ad requests and removes its ad objects. Turning this choice off does not erase information already received by a provider, and it should not be understood as a guarantee that every SDK background operation immediately stops.
Website information
The product website is hosted using Amazon Web Services, including Amazon S3 and CloudFront. Delivering a page necessarily involves processing technical request information such as your IP address, the requested address, request time, and browser or network headers. Hosting infrastructure may retain technical and security logs according to its configuration and operational needs.
The website itself does not include an advertising SDK, analytics tracker, account registration, or data-entry form. It does not set tracking cookies. The homepage's theme switch applies to the current page and does not save that choice in cookies or browser local storage. Fonts and artwork are served as website assets.
If you follow a Google Play, App Store, or other external link, the destination provider handles your visit under its own policies. See AWS's privacy notice for information about AWS's own processing.
Purposes and legal grounds
Local game information is used to provide the puzzle, remember settings, restore progress, and apply your choices. Optional form information is used to save and display the details you ask the app to remember. Technical website information is used to deliver pages and support security and reliability. If you contact us, your address, message, and any attachments will be used to answer the request and maintain a record of its handling.
Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, processing may rely on providing the service you request, legitimate interests in maintaining a secure and reliable service, compliance with legal duties, or consent where required for optional processing. A legitimate interest does not override your applicable rights. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.
Retention and security
Local game information remains until it is replaced during normal play or removed through the app's storage controls, clearing app data, or uninstalling the app. Optional account details remain until you replace them, select Delete local details, or remove the app's data. Copies managed by operating-system backup services are subject to those services' settings and retention practices.
Deleting local data does not automatically remove technical records held by an advertising or hosting provider. Those records are retained according to the provider's purposes, policies, and legal obligations. Correspondence is kept only as needed to address the request, maintain a necessary handling record, and meet legal obligations. This notice does not promise a fixed deletion period for third-party systems.
The Android app uses private app storage and encryption for the optional account-details record. The website uses HTTPS. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, and these measures are not a guarantee against every security risk.
Your controls and rights
- Optional services: open Settings > Privacy choices, change the available options, and save your choices. You can play the core puzzle with optional advertising declined.
- Advertising ID: Android may let you delete or reset your advertising ID or change ad privacy settings. The location and wording vary by Android version and device.
- Saved form details: open the account-details screen to review or replace your entries, or use Delete local details to remove the saved record.
- All local app data: use Android Settings > Apps > Little Windfall > Storage > Clear storage, or uninstall the app. This may permanently remove game progress. Check device backup settings if you also want to remove backup copies.
- Third-party records: use the privacy request options offered by the relevant provider. Removing the game alone does not delete information that a provider already received.
Depending on where you live and the processing involved, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information; restrict or object to processing; withdraw consent; or opt out of certain advertising uses. You may also be entitled to use an authorized agent, appeal a request decision, or complain to your local data-protection authority. These rights are subject to applicable law and exceptions.
For information handled by Emilie Games, use the privacy contact below. Include the app name and a description of your request, but do not send passwords, verification codes, or full financial account details. Reasonable verification may be needed to protect your information. The developer cannot remotely retrieve data that exists only on your device.
Children's privacy
The service is not directed to children under 13, or a higher minimum age where required by applicable law. The developer does not knowingly collect children's personal information. If you believe a child has provided information to the developer, use the privacy contact below so the matter can be reviewed and the information removed where appropriate. An age-confirmation screen is not a guarantee of verified age.
Changes to this policy
This notice may be updated when the app, providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date will identify the current version. Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law, and additional consent will be requested where required before new optional processing begins.
